Thirteenth Annual Academy Awards

This is the thirteenth Annual observance designed to increase awareness about Mental Health, Mental Illness and recovery. The Academy Awards was created to be one of Kern County Mental Health's and NAMI's premier events. It's designed to to celebrate the growth and accomplishments in the field of Mental Health. It is also to spotlight individuals who have been instrumental in promoting recovery principles among peers, clients and the public in general.

OSYM Speaks At National Convention In Washington DC!

It was an exciting moment for the OSYM Team, Jennifer, Marley, Steven & Cathy as they presented NAMI Kern County's OutSpoken Young Minds Project. Many were interested in our support & education program. There were several states that wanted to start a support group of their own using our format. We had representative's from Virginia, Mississippi, South & North Carolina, & Oregon. We had an OSYM time!
